Hello, everyone! I’m super excited to announce that my first book, Aerial Photography and Videography Using Drones, is now available for pre-order at Amazon for $26.52. It will also be available as a physical book and/or e-book directly from Peachpit, the publisher, on October 29, 2015, and will ship from Amazon and other retailers in early to mid November.

Aerial Photography and Videography Using Drones is a beginner-to-intermediate level primer for learning how to shoot from the air, and covers equipment, flight training, tips for how to be successful when shooting both aerial stills and video, and the regulatory environment. The book is generic enough for learning how to shoot with any consumer drone, but uses the DJI Phantom 3 camera drone as the primary device in examples because it is currently the standard in consumer aerial imaging.

It’s likely that I’ll be doing a book signing at Drone World Expo on November 17, 2015, in San Jose, California. Stay tuned here for more information!
