Just found this forum tonite and would like to contribute a few things....
I read bout Pepcid AC. Tried it a few weeks ago. took 20mg... went to bar about 30min later and had a Miller Lite beer. Feelin pretty good. Was hungry so i ordered some food...it was dark, didn't know if i turned really red.
Finished my miller lite with no drastic consequences... ordered a 2nd beer... didn't finish it, but i felt good.
One thing I noticed was i was burping alot more than usual. Don't know if you guys ever noticed it but when I burp, i know it's a good thing. When i first started drinking.... i would feel like sh*t and not burping as easy...
Week later another drinking episode...
No Pepcid AC....but i did go out and chugged a bottle of milk... Heard somewhere that drinking milk a while before helps... so i tried it. 15-20 min later, ate some greasy chinese food...5 min later had Jager Bomb and some Soco and Lime...... BOY WAS I RED and FEELIN IT!! headache nausea dizzy hot..... u name it. Pepcid AC might have helped...
Couple of myths i hear that i wanted to try.
Drinkin the weight gainer before a long night of drinking. Weight gainer has lots of nutrition, makes u feel bloated ( could expand stomach perhaps). Asian friend of mines says it works for him... haven't tried it yet, but will post results when/if i do.... anyone else have testimonies on this???
TOnite another episode....
No Pepcid, no milk, no weight gainer... had some hot&sour soup (11pm).
12am - Apple martini ( apple schnapps and some weird brand of vodka - not grey goose or B...) 5-10min later... Red like mofo, heart poundin, nausea, dizzy... the whole 9.
1230am- stopped drinkin... feelin like dookie.
130am-2am
Burping begins...by this time i'm feelin a little better.
