Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

My first day with No Glo.

Took 2 at afternoon, and then took 1 20min before drink at night. I drank 2 cans of beer, and had the same flushing I always have.
Redness was still there. But I usually fell a little drunk after this dosage, and Im not sure but felt less this time. Just this ,the rest was the same.

I´ll try taking daily and them take 2 before drinking.

I´ll report after that.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

When the counter culture first blossomed on the west coast in the mid-1960s, incense was a little-known oddity used in by a few independent religious groups, by a few advanced individuals, and of course by the Catholic church. It was not a common thing to see for sale in any major department store or other commercial\st stage of early notice was the large number of travelers to the east. Religions and philosophies from India, Japan, Tibet and China had become all the rage in the new movement, and it was a rite of passage for many to make a journey to the east, bum around, and bring back some necessary items. One of these new necessities was incense made in these exotic lands.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

For me, NoGlo is a no go.

I was one of the first people to order NoGlo. I bought it when it first came out, November of 2012. I did what the directions said to do, take it for 2-3 weeks and let the enzymes build in my system. After those 2 weeks, I tried drinking and I turned just as red as before. So I waited another week. Drank again and I got just as bright red as before. I tried taking an additional 2 pills before drinking. It had no effect. I kept experimenting with NoGlo, but every time, it didn't help the flushing and didn't help my increased heart rate or shortness of breath. In fact, some times I got a worse hangover from taking it.

I was really hoping NoGlo could help me out. I read up on all the antioxidants that are in the supplement and it sounded like it might work. Unfortunately, it turned out it's nothing more than that, a vitamin supplement.

P.S. One thing that also bothered me was that if you take NoGlo for the recommended 2-3 weeks beforehand (that would be 28-42 capsules) it would leave you with only 18-32 capsules left. So that's 9-16 doses (a dose is 2 capsules) after the recommended maximum benefits for 30 dollars. Between $2-3 a dose. Seems expensive for vitamins.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

i've ordered two 60-day bottles of NoGlo. The first month, I did not have good results at all and at times, it seemed like the symptoms were even worse than when I was just using pepcid ac. I decided to order another bottle just to see if it took more time to take full effect, especially since I feel like I have a rather strong Asian Flush reaction. I didn't have great results that time around either. However, the other night I tried using the pepcid with the extra two noglo pills (usually you take 2 per day, but they recommend taking an extra dose if you want for extra "protection") AND drinking especially slow. I ended up being able to drink 6 beers (compared to my usual two with extreme reaction and vomitting) with a little glow at the beginning but none afterwards. Down side was I was very paranoid about getting red so I didn't drink quickly enough to really get more than an okay buzz. I'm now out of NoGlo and will probably buy another bottle soon, but in the meantime I'm going to experiment to see if my good experience was due to pepcid ac and drinking slowly or the noglo supplement as well.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

Hello all,

I would like to inform you that the new NoGlo has been reformulated to have a better smell, as customers had complaints with this.

Also, we are in the final stages of our new clinical trial and we expect to have all data back by the end of September!

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

As a dedicated group searching for solutions to help with Alcohol Flush Reaction, NoGlo has just released the positive results of its first human clinical trial, becoming the first commercially available product ever to demonstrate a reduction in blood acetaldehyde and AFR symptoms!

Please read the full story here: http://gonoglo.com/noglo-health-product … cal-trial/

Please post with any questions about the study or the results! Thank you and we hope this is a big step forward for Alcohol Flush and for those looking for help. All of NoGlo's ingredients are long established as safe.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

So...is this a new formula that was tried out on human trials? And as for the smell...when you say it was reformulated....was that just for smell or does it work better too? Not for nothing but a lot of people who have chimed in here on this thread reviewing your product haven't had anywhere near the success stories that's advertised on your website.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

mgt06,

The formula used in the clinical trial is the same as the NoGlo formula that is available for sale. The reformulation was strictly to reduce the smell of the product. As you might expect, everyone has a different flushing response. Meaning that some individuals are more sensitive to the same levels of acetaldehyde, and flush more intensely. Our clinical study indicates however that NoGlo directly reduces the cause of all symptoms, and more importantly, the damage associated with Alcohol Flush Reaction. That cause being acetaldehyde concentration.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

Hi NoGlo,
I was wondering if there is currently an effort to do further research to come out with an even more effective NoGlo supplement that further reduces acetaldehyde levels?

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

Hi bchin2020,

We are making a further effort to conduct another clinical trial to see if we can bump the efficacy to as high as we can while remaining completely safe, however there is currently no time frame on this. We are very satisfied with the efficacy levels we have gotten and will continue to push for even better results.

Thank you.

"NoGlo® is backed by an unconditional 60-day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with NoGlo® for any reason, simply send the bottles back to us, for a full product cost refund."

Only unopened bottles could be returned.  So obviously one has to open the bottle in order to try the product, which means we do not get our refunds back.  Is this correct?  This statement to me is very misleading.

I've tried NoGlo.  I don't remember seeing "only unopened bottle" can be refunded.
On the bottle, it says it will reduce alcohol flushing.  It doesn't say it will eliminate flushing.  For me it worked as described.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

I was one of first few buyers of NoGlo.  Perhaps the writings have changed since I ordered it.

That was the reason why I bought it.  I thought it was a money back guarantee.  Since it didn't work for me, I tried to return it, but was told that only unopened bottles could be returned.  I still feel the statement is very misleading.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

Hi coco55,

NoGlo must include this language in the writings. Unfortunately, if we did not, we would be subject to fraud and dishonesty. However, we will refund opened bottles if they are returned and there is a message indicating why the product has been returned. We have refunded opened bottles before, however we must also evaluate for legitimacy. If we are genuinely contacted, we always refund. However, this language must be included and we hope you understand. Please send us an email with your experience and we can discuss your refund.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

Dalmore,

Thank you for your support. We are working to legitimately mitigate the symptoms and damage of Alcohol Flush.

FYI I decided to give NoGlo another shot and try it out longer this time and first thing I notice is the smell is still there and it smells even stronger than it did previously. I just bought this a week ago and it came in the mail today. Already I'm not keen on the smell again, in fact I think its stronger now....

Time to take 2 a day and see what happens come Friday when I take an additional 2, 45 min prior to happy hour....

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

Hey guys! So I think I found a great combo: AF Formula, NoGlo for three weeks and Pepcid 30 mins before drinking. It might be pricey, but it works perfectly. I usually get severe flush, but this combo almost completely eliminated the flush. Any slight flush subsided in a couple minutes. I will try only AF Formula after two more weeks and let you guys know if NoGlo helps after two weeks as well.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

Thanks for the report.  Looking forward to hearing more about it.

Re: NoGlo, "The anti-hangover, anti-flush supplement"

Hey parkerj,

AF Formula seems promising because of the positive reviews on its website, but it did not work for me after six weeks of use. If you have the money, you still may want to try AFF to see if it works for you. After all of the products I have tried, including AFF and NoGlo, I have just been using famotidine, which alleviates the flush somewhat and can be purchased on eBay for a low price. Good luck!
