I've been using PepcidTwo (I'm in UK and can't get Pepcid AC) for about a year and find it works pretty good for me. I normally just take 1 tablet (10mg) about 30-45 mins before drinking. I find that my flush is non-existant or very slight even if it feels like my face is on fire. This hot feeling wears off the more drinks I have until it is not noticable. I would normally go red after about 3/4 pint of beer.
Also just found this article posted on the Wall Street Journal about Asian Flush, I'm not sure how long it is available for but some of the more interesing lines in it are as follows:
"With 40% of Asians having the deficient gene that causes this condition, known medically as severe acetaldehydemia, a few small companies are rushing to test new products that they say will alleviate flushing symptoms and allow this group to drink comfortably"
"Meanwhile in South Korea, Edward Jung, an executive with Intellectual Ventures, is trying to create a pill that will exclusively treat the Asian flush. He sees a big market for such a product in Asia, where he says drugstores sell a vast array of herbal supplements for this purpose"

Although Pepcid works for me, I'm a litte concerned about the effects on my stomach as I've noticed after drinking that my stomach doesn't feel right for a couple days. Anyone else get this? Anyway, if a pill is developed specifically for Asian Flush that would be great, rather than using a side-effect of another medication to stop redness!
