Jan 11, 2005: On December 3, 2003, I posted
a message in my web journal about the Asian Blush, which quickly resulted in over 100 very-informative comments. This forum is intended to be an information source for those of us looking for information about why we turn red when we drink alcohol.

I've been taking 10mg of the chewable Pepcid for about 3 years now and it seems to do the trick. It is still slightly noticeable (particularly in my eyes which go a bit red) but it's definately not as red on my face compared to not taking it. I might try increasing the dosage to 20mg and see if that reduces it even more. It's become almost a habit now to make sure that I have some in my pocket before I go out. I don't tend to bother if I'm just drinking at home. Found this useful site which explains the problem and how to buy the solution: http://asian-flush.net/
