I put a complete car wash setup on a welding cart: an electric pressure washer, fifty feet of hose on a reel, and a de-ionized water tank for a final rinse that dries without water spots.

This is a home car wash rig built onto a Harbor Freight welding cart. Everything needed to wash a car rides on it: an Active 2.0 electric pressure washer with a swivel gun, fifty feet of hose on a spring-retracting reel, a foam cannon, soap, and brushes. Roll it out, connect a garden hose, plug it in, and wash. Dry with a leaf-blower, or just let it air dry. No toweling required (eliminates risk of swirl marks or damaging matte PPF).

Spot-free rinse and drying using a half-cubic-foot de-ionizing tank with a bypass head. Tap water carries dissolved minerals that dry into spots; the DI resin removes them. The bypass head switches the feed, so the wash runs on regular tap water and only the final rinse goes through the tank, which stretches the life of the resin. A rinse with de-ionized water dries on its own without spotting, so there is no need to towel off the car. An TDS spot meter shows when the resin is spent.
