Jan 11, 2005: On December 3, 2003, I posted
a message in my web journal about the Asian Blush, which quickly resulted in over 100 very-informative comments. This forum is intended to be an information source for those of us looking for information about why we turn red when we drink alcohol.

they obviously have an interest in the area of ALDH metabolism.
I followed up on this and came across a drug named Acetium that this company markets. Could someone please check it out and give a simpler explanation of what it does and whether it solves our problem? Sorry, don't have a scientific or medical background here so I hope someone with said credentials can help out...
Also, I had to take out the links because the forum said I wasn't allowed to post any links...stupid spammers
Hey guys, just an update here. So I've been tracking this thing since the announcement on 6/30/10 and unfortunately, almost a year has passed and nothing has been commercialized yet. Granted, drugs like this often take multiple years of testing and passing regulation, even after successful testing, before it can hit the market. In a bout of impatience I actually emailed Uni Pharma today in an effort to get some sort of status update on the process. I really think this could be the saving grace for our affliction - although some could argue that it is our strength - and I would encourage everyone to email and lobby the company so that we can get our finger on the pulse. (the only email I could get was order@uni-pharma.com)
Echeng - can you get a discussion-wide message out about this because I don't think it is getting enough coverage and it is the closest solution we have that is closest to fruition.
As always, I will be staying on top of any new developments related to Raptor and Uni Pharma. I truly believe that if we consolidated our efforts and reached out, we can get some answers.
Hey guys I'm new to this forum but it's great that there is a place where blush-sufferers like me can come together and discuss a topic that all affects us in different ways... anyways...I was doing so market research at my internship today and came across this...hot off the stove...looks like their's hope:
