Jan 11, 2005: On December 3, 2003, I posted
a message in my web journal about the Asian Blush, which quickly resulted in over 100 very-informative comments. This forum is intended to be an information source for those of us looking for information about why we turn red when we drink alcohol.

It would be great to see something like this reach commercialization. I wonder if they will be able to produce it for an affordable cost as I can imagine this would not be at the top of the government subsidy list.

mmmm yeah pepcid AC works but only partially, Zantac less so - has anyone tried any of the other antacids?
I've seen the cheerz guy spamming on other sites too. I checked out their site - its a hangover cure that they are trying to market as a remedy for Asian Flush... talk about desperate.
yeah, the pepcid AC works, but not that well - at least not for me. You really have to take a lot of it for it to get rid of all the redness.
I have also read that it mainly affects those of Japanese, Korean and Chinese decent.
Bakers yeast doesn't works for me... pepcid works - kind of.
