Trey Ratcliff hosted #87 of his Variety Hour show today, which was about DRONES (in a photography context), or “the D-word,” as Russell Preston Brown refers to the term.

The Google+ Hangout event included Trey, me, Colin Guinn (DJI North America), Thomas Hawk, Frederick Van Johnson, Barry Blanchard, Dave Veffer, and Peter Giordano. Russell Preston Brown was on for the pre-show setup, but abruptly dropped off as his home internet connection died. Trey, Thomas, Peter and Frederick have no direct experience with aerial imaging from UASes, so it was a very basic discussion. We clearly need a few more of these to happen. 🙂
