The high-end MōVI stabilized camera system is based on the same brushless gimbals we use for stabilized aerial imaging work. I put this handheld GoPro HERO3 gimbal together in just a few minutes using a Rotorpixel HERO3 gimbal (http://rotorpixel.com), an Opteka X-Grip, 2S LiPo battery, 4 x AA battery housing, and a servo tester.
