Remember to travel with extra cables! I use an old Phantom battery to charge my Black Pearl monitor / diversity receiver, and the JST connector just lost a wire. I can jam the broken wire in and make the connection work, but it would be better if I had a spare cable here in Iceland. Worse case: I’ll cut and strip the wires, twist them together, and find some electrical tape.

I ordered a 15v DC wall adapter, and will use that to charge the Black Pearl in the future. I should have ordered two…
