I spent the early part of August in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, photographing whale sharks (Rhincodon typus). Each summer, hundreds of whale sharks aggregate there to feed on bonito spawn. Tourists can literally jump into the water with upwards of 300 whale sharks in the water, at once. I took my quadcopter, this year, and shot a lot of aerial video and stills. I’m holding onto the video, for now (let me know if you need aerial whale shark video for your films!), but here are some of the still images. It was tons of fun!
