I installed the private beta DNG raw update for the DJI Phantom 2 Vision tonight, and it shows huge promise. I took only a single picture while holding the Vision in my hand, and the camera generated a 28.8 MB DNG file and 3.3 MB JPG. Side by side, there is way more content in the DNG (as expected). In the example, I cropped 960×540-pixel sections; top is DNG, bottom is JPG. I haven’t done any noise reduction, so you can see what it looks like out of the camera (but I did do +30 Clarity and +15 Vibrance).

I am excited to put this up in the air!
