How to bring both an Inspire 1 and Phantom 3 onboard during travel.

The stock Inspire 1 case will fit in the bag size checker, but will stick out of the top of it. It also fits in overhead on most airplanes, but only sideways. Some airline folks will let you through, especially if you have airline status, but you should be ready to check it, which means having a plan for removing batteries from the case and carrying on in LiPo bags.

The Thinktank backpack w/Phantom 3 in it fits under seats, but usually, the laptop sleeve needs to be removed. This is why I prefer the older Thinktank backpacks over the more recent ones that have integrated laptop compartments.
