For $299 assembled, the Witespy Flip quadcopter is a great little aircraft. I attached a GoPro HERO 3 to the frame using a velcro strap and did a few nervous flips with it—nervous, because the quad was really heavy. I was using a 2200MAh 3S battery which, combined with the GoPro, seems to be near the payload limit for the quad. If it seems sluggish in the video, that is the reason. In addition to the large battery and GoPro, I’ve added 9 sets of 3.5mm bullet connectors, and a LiPo low-voltage alarm. It all adds up, in terms of payload.
