Edgertronic high-speed camera configured for field use

I configured my Edgertronic high speed camera for field use, today, which means attaching portable power and a portable, battery-powered wireless router. Once the edgertronic works directly by using Wi-Fi, the wireless router can be removed.
The portable wireless router I’m using is the TP-LINK TL-MR3040. I configured the router to assign a specific ip address to the edgertronic’s hardware MAC address because the edgertronic will ask for an IP address using DHCP.
Full parts list:
- Tripod mount for 7-8” tablets
- L-shaped bracket holder
- TP-LINK TL-MR3040 portable wireless router
- Custom power cable: 2.5mm/5.5mm DC plug soldered to a male XT60 connector
- 2200 mAH 3S LiPo battery with female XT60 connector (a standard, of sorts)
- Bluecell LiPo voltage checker
- Ethernet cable
The 2200 mAH battery should power the camera for nearly 2 hours because the camera draws about 1 amp. Say 90 minutes, conservatively. Mike says that the edgertronic will shut off at 8 volts, but a 3S LiPo will become damaged before it reaches 8 volts, so the voltage checker is necessary.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Early edgertonic cameras can ONLY be used with the included AC adapter. Please check the edgertronic wiki page to see whether your camera can handle a third-party power source. Also note that I will not be responsible for any damage that occurs to your camera, should you try to use a third-party power source.
I tried using the Really Right Stuff B26 plate with anti-rotation pin, but the pin didn’t quite fit. RRS tells me that the Really Right Stuff B76 Multi-use fore-aft plate will work. Anti-rotation is accomplished by grabbing the lip of the edge of the camera.
