DJI has released Naza-M firmware 4.00, the next iteration of firmware for the Naza-M multirotor flight controller. It supports ground station software (if you have the required hardware), but for beginner DJI Phantom owners, the most-interesting new feature will be the flight limits function, which allows you to limit altitude and radius of flight to prevent the aircraft from moving too far away while you are practicing.
Personally, I’m most interested in “Optimize the taking off conditions to meet most requirements of taking off on moving vehicles.” I’m not sure what it means, yet, but I frequently launch off of moving boats, and any improvement in this area is very welcome.
