Behind-the-scenes during the ABC / Good Morning America shoot. We used Android devices (Sony Experia Z2, in this picture) to run the DJI Pilot app because iOS devices do not tolerate cold environments (strangely, they complain about being too hot!). Those of you who are interested in aerial UAV stuff can look at the telemetry we had to work with.

We used the picture-in-picture map to navigate back to home point because we were piloting way out of visual line of sight. Without internet access, we were unable to load satellite maps into the app in the field; later, we cached them onto the device.
