I finally had my long overdue housewarming party on Saturday the 16th. The date happened to coincide with my birthday (well, a day later), so it was sort of a birthday party as well. I've never had so many people sing "Happy Birthday" to me before, so I was very touched. At 7:30pm, Livia Sohn, Benjamin Chen, Geoff Nuttall, and I played a short, informal recital featuring Mozart's String Quartet in E-flat major, K.428. I've included a recording below. I'd like to thank Livia, Ben, and Geoff for putting in the time necessary to whip this thing into shape. I'd also like to thank Sherry Hsieh for helping me prepare for the party, Adam Tow for taking photographs, and everybody who came and had a good time!

I should add a standard disclaimer, of course. There are tons of baby and shuffling noises in the second movement, which is unfortunate. Also, neither Benjamin nor I are professional musicians, and we only had one rehearsal, so listen at your own risk! :)
