Posted at 03:12 AM PST: "Richter, Seraglio"
Paul is singing the lead in the San Francisco Opera's production of Die Entführung aus dem Serail (The Abduction from the Seraglio), and was nice enough to give us tickets to hear him sing in the very last production tonight. He was AMAZING, of course. I wasn't familiar with the opera before-hand (didn't even know that Mozart wrote it!), but the music was fantastic, and I really enjoyed everything about it -- except for the lead soprano, who was sort of weak. It was also fun to watch Paul's make-up folk glue on his wig. :)In the afternoon, Livia and I went (with her friend, Dave) to the SF MOMA to see the Gerhard Richter: Forty Years of Painting exhibit, which I had also enjoyed at the New York MOMA just before the museum moved to Queens. I absolutely love his paintings. If you have the password, click here for private photos from tonight. Otherwise, enjoy the ones below. :)

thanks for the typo fix. :)
The correct title is 'Die Entführung aus dem Serail'
Eric: Did you like Richter's abstract work or his representational work better? I preferred the latter. -adam
who are you? :) I use BreezeBrowser, with a custom template. The javascript generates the new row tag after every n images (n=2, for this page).
Hi Eric, I have a tech question. What script do you use to generate your SSI ? Do you use breezebrowser for that as well ? I'm also curious to understand why you have this javascript in your SSI to generate your table columns. Sorry for the hassle. Great pics anyway, you're my hero :)
