Whale Whores, a mockery of the highest honor

South Park spoofs Sea Shepherd and Whale Wars

I just watched South Park’s Whale Whores, a spoof on Whale Wars, and it was hilarious1. It is the ultimate proof that you’ve made it when South Park does a spoof on you! If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch the episode on South Park’s website.

  1. I was head photographer on last year’s anti-whaling campaign

We do the same with chickens and cows...

Except chickens and cows aren't becoming endangered. If they were, we'd lay off for a few years to let them spawn and keep going.

    Still, that was funny...

HAHA! You stink now! Your boat is stinky! But actually the stuff they throw is Butyric Acid, which does indeed smell real bad, and Japan (trying to act like Watson is evil) is claiming that it is harmful to humans.

  • Paul's response. I think it's a good one.

That episode was kind of all over the road...

They bashed on the Sea Shepherd and crab fishermen for whoring themselves out on TV.

They bashed on the Japanese for being so environmentally unfriendly.

But then they bash on Americans, making the statement that the Japanese are just doing the same thing we do with chickens and cows.

Still, I laughed out loud multiple times. :)

  • Kim, I hope everyone over there is suitably entertained by the episode. I have no idea what Paul's reaction might have been -- South Park was pretty harsh on him... but they are harsh on everyone, and that is part of makes it so entertaining! Right? ;)

  • Damn that chicken and cow! ;)
