The Sun is a lousy paper that usually peddles worthless tabloid drivel, so it's quite nice to see it dragged momentarily out of the gutter by these quality images! I notice in the comments section that it triggers the standard knuckledragger response of either attempting to write down the 'Jaws' theme or 'The only good shark is a dead shark' etc...depressingly predictable.

I try to use dotted lines. That way, you can sneak through the spaces when you need to and not cross anything.

Yeah, I don't see this particular article as selling out. But everyone has a line that they won't cross...

I don't see it as selling out at all; I see it as you did as serving to highlight a misperception--that's one of the things that make the tooth shots so interesting. Unfortunate that they didn't make the good point that the data doesn't support the fear. Your comments were perfect.

i visualized taking this photograph, but could never make it happen. Amazing shot!

also, couldnt agree more with your commentary. it's a paradox - if you dont show pictures that inspire fear, no pictures will get to the masses, yet if you do it supports the stereotypical image of shark as man-eater.

my personal view is we should try to get as much info about sharks to as many people as possible even if it means "selling out". the more educated people become on the subject, the better.
