I had pretty much forgotten what it was like to miss someone so much. It’s nice to have that part of me back again. (more, if you login here and look into the past)

Hey, Dardy. Great to hear from you!
Actually, it feels great. No scariness at all…
dardy
hey dude. yeah, i’ve been lurking. i check your blog every weekday; it’s the second one i look at after aiyah’s (though she’s apparently stopped writing).
i think i’ve pretty much forgotten what it’s like to have someone in my life too. it’ll take some adjusting when it happens, i’m sure.
you know what scares me now? getting into an elevator. we had the power go out in our company a few days ago for THREE hours. luckily, no one was in the elevator. now, i’m petrified of stepping in one every time i go downstairs for a cigarette break. :/

Have you ever climbed out of the hatch at the top of the elevator? I did that once, and it was fun — like in the movies. But it’s rare to find an elevator with an exposed hatch. Most seem to have lighting in the way…
dardy
how did you manage to get up to the hatch? did someone step on someone else’s back or something? there’s no way in hell i can jump that high, nor could i pull myself up (no arm strength) even if i could…

Not sure what it means when a post about love ends up discussing elevator escape hatches… I feel like there needs to be a nudge nudge and a wink wink in there somewhere inappropriate.

Norm – you funny.
Dardy – I used to have arm strength. Would be harder now, I think. :)

i’m so happy for you! glad you’re enjoying the time together enough to really miss each other when you’re apart. look forward to meeting her sometime, hopefully…

I’m currently very entertained by some of the speculation out there regarding the implications of this post. Heh. :)
