I’d like to share some correspondence between me and my family over the past week while I was at Gatecon. Stargate is my dad’s favorite television show. It shows, doesn’t it? :)

Yeah, thanks. The Tolin (his name is Tolin) guy is from a dead planet. His people have evolved into a more technologically advanced civilization. Startgate SG-1 found them on this dead planet and saved them by sending them through the stargate to the base below the Cheyenne Mountain on the earth. Their leader refused to share their advanced technology with the earthlings. Later they departed the earth and settled in another planet. Tolin was in love with Samantha …He helped to auction one of your photos. It’s quite a honor.

I am sure you had a lot of fun at the Gatecon. Thanks for sharing the photos. Be careful when handling with the “Fountain of Youth.”

I am proud that you (1) watched 8.5 seasons of the Stargate SG-1, and (2) walked through the Stargate (to another planet in a far away Galaxy presumably).

I could not believe that Apophis was there too. He even signed your shark breaching photo! Is he the Apophis before or after he died?

Apophis has been reincarnated into the body of a Jamaican actor named Peter Williams. It’s really quite amazing!

I’m trying to find someone who took a photo of me and Kim coming through the Stargate. :)

Don S. Davis was a great actor. I like his role very much in Stargate SG-1 as General George Hammond. I am glad to hear that his wife was there to share the glory.
