Best iPhone car mount?

I am searching for the best car mount for my iPhone. In my old Subaru, I used a cheapie $4 vent mount from the local carwash to hold my (old) Blackberry. Unfortunately, that sort of aesthetic doesn’t match my current car (and, it rubbed the paint off of the contact areas). :)
I tried an iGrip cigarette lighter adapter mount, but it was so tight fitting that it pulled the metal ring of my cig lighter adapter right out (!), and now, I have to bring my car in to get it fixed. The suction cup version is more ghetto, but might look and work fine. I think I’ll give it a try.
Anyone have a good solution? I know I shouldn’t be using the phone in the car, but the stupid iPhone doesn’t have voicedial.
I don’t have an iPhone yet, but I love this clip for my iPod:

You buy a mount for the car and a second for the phone/pda and it works great. When I upgrade to iPhone I can just swap out the top half, although my 60GB iPod is filled so I’ll probably stick with that in the car.
Hey, Jeff. I’ve seen that company’s stuff before. Looks like the right solution.
Hi Eric,
I’m using a vent mount for my Sony Ericsson P1 in my car. Like this one:

For me it works perfectly because I’m not using the middle vents very much and they’re at the lowest level every time. As well they are in a good height to watch the navigation system, play mp3s, etc…
Also I can “clip” the phone into the mount and it gets automatically connected to the free speach system.
Have fun. :-)
Regards, Tobias
I can’t use a standard vent mount because the lower surface where it touches the car will rub away paint and varnish. But ProClipUSA’s vent mount looks like it won’t rub and scratch…
