That must be very frustrating, not to mention uncomfortable. I was ill-prepared for life in general a few weeks ago after getting home from a quintet trip. No groceries, at the tail end of the last roll of toilet paper, no treats for pissy, demanding cat, etc. It was no big deal because I was going to go to the store as soon as I woke up in the morning and all would be right in my world again. Of course, this was not meant to be. Before 8a.m. I heard a loud vehicle outside my window, which is odd seeing as I live in the woods and there is no road anywhere near my window. I got up, looked out the window and they were laying cement down for a new sidewalk in front of my door. Apparently the notice informing me all this blew off the front door while I was gone so I was trapped indoors for 6hrs, waiting for them to finish and set up these walking plank things.
