infrared panorama, serengeti national park, tanzania
Much to Al Vinjamur’s dismay, I keep shooting stitched panoramas without using a tripod. This panorama was shot with my infrared-modified Canon 20D, and those dots in the middle are elephants. It’s hard to see at 600 pixels wide (the original is over 10,000 pixels wide), but you can also download a 1024-pixel version.
This is spectacular! I go back on forth about doing a glass swap on my 5D. Who knows…That 1Ds MkIII looks like one tempting sick puppy.
Hoping the entire family is well, dude. Best wishes.
Tech note : Dont think you’ll have a problem blowing this up and printing it fora ncie stitch. However, if you have near field stuff you will not be able to. That’s the only way to shoot “real pbpbpbano”. BTW, Jeff Chien (guy that wrote photomerge on cs3) was at the pixel mafia dinner. Cool dude.
that’s really cool.
