San Diego fire area expands to our house

According to the map at SignOnSanDiego (they have swapped out the crappy one they had earlier for a Google map), the area of the fire has expanded to include the location of our house.

Luckily, the burned structures list doesn’t include any houses near ours (yet). The closest one is about a mile away, which doesn’t seem so far when winds are so high. A lot of them are right near the center of town, though.

I can’t even imagine what it’s like there!

My dad gets home on Thursday night. I hope it’s all over by then…

   also twitter tracking has been throwing some usefull tit bits my way recently too. Is the house your parents live in now the one you grew up in ? … rain dances all round …. !
