San Diego fire area expands to our house

According to the map at SignOnSanDiego (they have swapped out the crappy one they had earlier for a Google map), the area of the fire has expanded to include the location of our house.

Luckily, the burned structures list doesn’t include any houses near ours (yet). The closest one is about a mile away, which doesn’t seem so far when winds are so high. A lot of them are right near the center of town, though.

I can’t even imagine what it’s like there!

My dad gets home on Thursday night. I hope it’s all over by then…

  • Replaced Wordpress Mobile Edition with wp-touch, and switched to WP Super Cache to support mobile (with updated user agents) 14 hrs ago
  • @ggoodale have to do some more tests. I don't use the openID plugin, so it may work for me. in reply to ggoodale 14 hrs ago
  • OK. Switched to WP-Super-Cache "half on", and Disqus seems to be showing up reliably now. 17 hrs ago
