Screaming turtle tattoo

Last week, Tammy sent me a photo of the screaming turtle turtle up on a board in Thailand somewhere.

Here’s something like that, only it’s TOTALLY BIZARRE. Jason Bradley sent me an e-mail with a link to a photo of a tattoo based on my screaming turtle image! I am at a loss for words (i’m sorta freaked out by it!). I am going to try to contact the person who had this done. :)

I can’t even, uh, fathom why someone would get that tattooed on their body. I mean…it’s my favorite photograph of yours but…that’s just plain a weird-ass thing to get permanently inked on your body.

    is that their butt crack?!

  • http://www.davidpatchen.com davepatchen

They didn’t purchase rights to use your image?! This is going to cost them…

  • http://www.thinkoholic.com markus

too bad they removed your copyright watermark ;)

  • http://tammyloh.com tammy

seriously. what body part is that?

  • http://www.davidpatchen.com davepatchen

    I think I see pubic hair…

Dude, you are totally reaching international cult status. A TATTOO! HAahhahaha!!!

  • Ted Nghiem

I believe it was tattooed in a cleavage. Of course I can be wrong ..

  • tanthalas

So, for you less sick-minded people, this was most likely the area on the back near the arm/armpit. :P

But everyone probably knew that and just wanted to make it scandalous, so carry on!

Very cool, in any case. :) But yeah, what are the copyright laws for tattoos?

  • http://www.thinkoholic.com markus

actually, the page that eric has linked to says “placement: chest”…

  • http://www.deepdreams.com Rogier Willems

I think its the right armpit seen from the back

Cool tattoo… a tad wierd though

  • http://www.connal.com Heidi

Is that a turtle flying out of your arse, or are you just happy to see me?

  • http://www.dlindsey.us David Lindsey

Personally, I think it’s totally cool! This “DeeDee” did a good job on the tattoo.

I think you shoud find the “owner” of that Tatoo and send him/here a nice license bill every month .

  • pat

I think this is totally cool. It is someone who loves turtles.. Stop judging people…………hello

  • http://echeng.com echeng

You mean, stop judging the person who stole my photo and used it as a tattoo without contacting me? OK.

I think it is cute. Kind of reminds me of the turtles on Finding Nemo.

The pic itself is cute, and it’s cool to have it on your board and all. But on your body? That’s just plain weird. I mean, who loves the image THAT much to put it on their body? What could the image possibly mean to them that they need to put it on their body? What could they possibly feel is so deep about the image that they want to put it on their body? I agree with you : it’s a little weird. I wonder where they’ve put it as well?

I had a dream the other night of a screaming turtle from Ohio. What does this mean?
