Canon virtual lens plant

The online Canon Camera Museum has an excellent flash presentation about how lenses are made.

In particular, one presentation I found interesting is the virtual lens plant, which takes viewers through all the steps necessary to create and assemble a Canon EF 500mm f/4.0L IS USM Autofocus Lens (a lens I wish I had in my arsenal!). Pretty impressive!

    Interesting, nice advertise. But did you count how often he said “…the Canon EF 500m f/4.0L IS USM Autofocus Lens…”? I think it wasn’t under a hundert times as far as I remeber… ;-)
