Eric Cheng and Mo Rocca at Isla Guadalupe

I just got a call from Kat and Lawrence. I made the Tonight Show with Jay Leno piece on Guadalupe and great white sharks! It’s on tonight, but I have no idea how much screen time they gave me. :)

   Hey Eric, it’s been awhile! Anyways, my friend in Minnesota just called me to tell me that she recognized you on Leno! She said it was a short clip, but long enough to recognize you! I’m staying up to see you on the boat!

   The bit was great — they didn’t show enough of you (I think the Leno guy thought you might upstage him) — but it was pretty darn funny!

   I just saw it and came to your journal! If Mo referred to me by name and said “Eric Cheng world renowned photographer” and my name was captioned on the tonight show, I think I’d be pretty happy. :) Very cool Eric!

    I finally watched it, and it was indeed funny! I was pretty worried, because it seemed like it would be hard to get laughs out of white sharks…

    OK, the YouTube clip I posted is pretty crappy in quality, and the audio sync is off. Oh well.
