Leaving the cage at Guadalupe

Great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) and divers in cages, Guadalupe, Mexico
I did something stupid, though, and it was only after the fact that it really sunk in.
I left the cage a few times to get shots of a shark approaching the surface cages and to get shots of the down cage itself. Great white sharks often ambush seals from below, and leaving the cage was a bad idea. However, I did stay under the boat (more or less) while out of the cage, and from what I understand, sharks are not likely to hit a target from below if its silhouette is not clearly defined.
