When I hear somebody say ‘yous guys’ i go into orbit. Ya’ll isn’t correct, either, but at it is a combination of ‘you all’, and not ‘yous guys’, which has nothing to do with anything.

I’ve been asked no less than 6 times why I didn’t port my number over. I’ve started deleting the messages with no reply.

I year “yous” a lot while I’m on the road to places where English isn’t used properly (e.g. Tonga, Palm Beach, Pittsburgh (”y’inz”)).

Many northerners foolishly assume that “y’all” is already plural. If it were, then there would be no need for “all y’all”.
