I've gotten a bunch of e-mail telling me to check the bay bridge info site for closure information. While it is a good site, the page I happened to bookmark (entitled, "closures and detours") doesn't have dates for the eastbound full-desk closure this weekend! The front page prominently displays the correct information, but the actual closures page does not. Strange.

Also, while the front page's "11:59am June 3" description is good, all of the signs around the Bay Area show "June 4 MIDNIGHT," which I'll bet a lot of people are going to interpret as midnight the evening of June 4.

I went to the Chinese Consulate to get my visa today (the one on Laguna Street). I was stuck at the Bay Bridge toll plaza for almost 20 minutes. It sucks! No wonder people buy the FastTrak pass.
