Experimental “Matrix” Tiger Shark Video

I’m experimenting with an idea I have for a film I want to create for an underwater film festival. Here’s a test of the technique I want to use.

I’m working on getting a version I can embed here, so stay tuned. In the meantime, you can download this WMV9 version — and let me know what you think! Please don’t share this with anyone, yet. :)

    that’s a pretty cool concept! i’m curious what the final result will be – everything you touch seems to turn to gold, anyway…

    Wow. I found myself salivating a little – not cuz of the shark nor its fin nor the fish head(?) floating around – but because of the wetness of the water. I felt like I was right there in the water!

    I also found myself inhaling sharply as you camera came out of the water with the shark, and holding my breath as you went down again. And my heart rate is beating a little faster now too. I like how you could see the fin protruding from the water. Coooooooooooooooool.

    Can’t wait to see what music you decide to put in the background!

    That’s good stuff E. It’s kind of like ‘bullet time’ but in this case the bullet=shark. I also like the split that integrates nicely in the overall action. Very cool.
