The neverending birthday

Lots of birthday festivities! Strange, considering that I didn’t want to make it a big deal. The past two years have had me in Indonesia, and I had sort of gotten used to having the excuse of being away to avoid birthday festivities. ;)

Here are some photos of my little New York City birthday party at Al’s place, a dinner at Patsy’s, and a dinner at Mas (farmhouse).

Oh — and thanks to everyone who called/emailed/commented with birthday wishes!

Water, water, everywhere but not a drop to drink? Wow, you have some very cute friends in NYC. Haven’t they discovered the sophisticated/quirky/witty/boyish/self-directed/shy/impatient charm of echeng? Invite them diving! :)
