Anyway, it's cool you got to go up to the top of 101.  Back when I was there in January this year, the top wasn't open to the public yet.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;maybe it's just me, but I find that 101 building to be quite an eyesore. It's a bad mixture of traditional Chinese and modern architecture design elements. Kinda like bad fusion food (a la Ming Tsai). The other bad tall building in Asia that comes to mind is the &lt;a href="http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=103802"&gt;strange tower with the balls&lt;/a&gt; in Shanghai. But that's just me, I'm sure many others think those buildings are very nicely done.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;our old home (and now my aunt and uncles) is right near that 101 building. he hates it. he's convinced it's bad feng shui and if there's an earthquate, they're doomed! love the fotos! can't wait till i can go visit taipei again.&lt;/p&gt;
