Squid Sex

hot animal-on-animal action is aways a hit

Squid sex is cool, except that the poor guys die after they do it. I watched one female and two males go at it for over an hour! More squid sex photos on the third Bonaire update at Wetpixel.com.

Note that squid sex should not be confused with tentacle porn, which I’ve never seen, but assume is gross and weird in that Japanese anime-fetish sort of way.

    And speaking of sea cucumbers, I had my first leopard sea cucumber spit out sticky, toxic, white stuff while I was in Irian Jaya in December. Surprised the hell out of me (I didn't think I was *really* bothering it). ;)

    jim: squid don't have sex for fun. the male inserts a sperm sack into the female just behind her eye (I've got shots of this on the Wetpixel site linked from the entry). The female apparently can decide to use it or not.
