paradise incomplete
It sure is purty here. Blues upon turqoise blues settle into layers of calm off in the distance. There is a palpable slowing of the heart, of breathing, of thinking…
Lucien met me at the airport in Tahiti last week, and has been a gracious host. We spent a few days in Fakarava, one of the ends of the earth, and are now in Rangiroa, which is equally as beautiful. On Thursday, I board the Akademik Shokalskiy in Tahiti for 13 days of cruising in the Tuamotus. I fully expect to see lots of sharks.
