I’m single and live in a loft downtown Atlanta, Ga. How expensive was the purchase and installation of the tankless water heater? Any pitfalls or problems. I’m looking around because my heater is right at 10 yrs old. Why did you choose the Bosch over other brands. Thanks!

tankless water heaters sound cool. i circumvent water heater problems by taking showers at the hospital. sweet!

Sorry to hear about the shite neighbors. In my experience, they aren't limited to lofts though. We have a neighbor who has sued 3 or 4 other neighbors over stupid shit supposedly (and lost). And you've heard my neighbors hammering mp3 right? Hah

You may only be one man, but you lead the life of at least 2 or 3… Though I’m not sure that would increase your hot water consumption. We have two monster hot water heaters and we’ve never even come close to running out… we used to run out all the time at our old house.

Maybe over the summer (when time allows) we can figure out how to treat the sound a bit. You know, diffusion and absorption liked we talked about, but also to keep the waves from traveling beyond your place. Probably also increase the property value, no?

It would be good to know if it's traveling through the ceiling or through the pipes. Maybe talk to the guy, ask if you can stand in his apartment while someone plays the piano real loud. That way you'd get a better idea. If he refuses, then he has no justification for complaining.

How do you like the tankless water heater? Can it keep up with your rapid (hot) water consumption?
