I know a post a ton of photos of this chick… and here are some more.
I flew back from Denver a few days ago and got sidetracked on my way home from the airport by blue pillows, blue paint, and 2am Mexican food in Alameda. I also got hopelessly lost in Vienna’s new studio space and wandered around an aural jumble of drums, pianos, and wah-wah’ed electric guitars before her phone finally connected with the world to give me a studio number.
I stapled 60 pillows to the wall.
There are also photos of Vienna’s Stir TV interview at my place. Can’t wait to see the segment on TV — anyone know when it’s going to air? :)

You are the master of stapling pillows. If I ever need pillows stapled to a wall, I will be sure to call you! ;)
Good Job eric :-))
I’m so proud of you both I could cry! sniffle
Of what i’m not exactly sure… but the place looks good ;)
Excellent pillow stapling technique there Eric. I probably woulda just put one in the center and moved on, but you got all arty and detailed and stuff. :)
wow, they fit perfectly. cool.
looking kinda trendy and loungy in there. throw in a bar and some nubile hipsters and you could charge outrageous cover.
Nice! The pillows on the bottom left look to plain compared to their flashy counterparts in the top right. Any plans to give them a touch up as well?
other than looking [very] cool, is there any functional purpose to stapling pillows to the wall, ie. sound-proofing / absorbing?
I was also wondering the same thing about the pillows… aside from looking super cute and cozy, are the pillows for sound-proofing??
It won’t sound proof it, but it’ll help it sound better. 90 degree angles and hard surface walls suck for sound because they cause sound waves to reflect and flange. Pillows can act as absorbers of the sound waves, at least to some degree, which in effect shortens the life span of some of the stray waves and makes the room sound better.
That and they just look groovy. :)
