If you are having problems with Mozilla Firefox 0.9.x (my browser of choice) launching two windows every time you click on a URL from your mail reader or other application, you need to apply a registry fix. If you aren’t using Firefox, you totally should.
myie2 has tabbed browsing, popup blocking, and probably most of what firefox offers, and it integrates into existing ie so there’s no need to install a whole new browser.
But with MyIE2, you are stuck with the security flaws that IE is famous for. Firefox/Mozilla/et al are more secure, more stable and faster (IMHO).
i love firefox — unless i happen to click on a pdf. Adobe Acrobat Reader integration with firefox is horrible — HORRIBLE.
eh? adobe acrobat reader integrates quite nicely with firefox for me. it integrates just as well as it does with IE. i’m using Acrobat 4.0 though, old version.
I use Acrobat 6. It works, but it is a huge resource hog — probably the slowest thing on my computer, when used with Firefox (starting up and quitting, mostly).
