I dream of shampoo (General)
:: Tuesday, November 4th, 2003 @ 10:46:49 am
Strangely enough, while I was gone, what I missed the most was using shampoo on my really short hair. I didn’t bring any, and the hotel didn’t have any. And so, I used soap. Soap really sucks.
Oh yeah, I wrote some stuff about Antibes over on Wetpixel.
And check this out (Kids playing Pong and stuff).
1) congratulations (félicitations!) upon receiving the award.
2) and yes, soap sucks on hair, more so on people with relatively long hair. but if you haven’t showered in awhile and the hair is chock full o’ greasy goodness, then soap is just the remedy.
3) kudos, once again, for the superb photographing. it makes for a nice distraction from work, at the least. :)
That’s a great article about today’s kids and games from our day. I remember playing every single one of them in my youth! I often prefer them to today’s super-duper graphic games because of their simplicity.
Yeah, I remember how the primitive graphics actually left more room for your imagination to enrich the experience. Seems that today’s pixilation leave you expecting more, which sometimes is a letdown for gameplay since our expectations are set higher.
Bah! I mean, I enjoy and respect the older games too…but I’ll take Vice City and Half-Life over pac-man and pitfall any day of the week.

I’m not 100% convinced that article was real. Maybe I’m disconnected from today’s youth, but it seemed just a little too perfect…
Funny as hell though. :)
Hello there! I love your photography. Your pictures are beautiful! The underwater pictures are so so awesome. I love your site. You’re also very cute! LOL. Anyway, just thought I’d say Hello. I don’t like olives here, LOL.
Ooops, here? Where’d that come from? I meant “either”…
Damn, *I* never get comments like that. Heheh.
I’m currently reading all about our “culture of the spectacle” and how the need for ever-flashier spectacle and ever-more-advanced technology is causing an ever-increasing disconnect between image and reality which threatens to rend a societal abyss into which the very structure of our lives will collapse!
So … bring back Pong, I guess! (Naw, just kidding. SSX 3 is awful purty.)
