i hate computers.
that tv “debate” was laughable.
If Ahnuld wins the election, I’m moving out of the state.
I laughed out loud several times. The “I know this is how you normally treat women…” quote being the biggest. Another was the “too much coffee” quip. Good stuff! But I’m so confused. Was that a movie, a Comedy Central skit, or was it real? Were they debating issues or playing parts? Is it funny or serious?
My poor brain… so confused.
I am sooo glad we left California last year. Nothing like not having to pay state income taxes anymore, in addition to cheaper fuel costs.
:-)
But I do miss the outdoors. Aaahhh, the tradeoffs in life.
dear crap, I hope Californians aren’t stupid enough to vote for him.
if there’s one thing I have total faith in, it’s the stupidity of voters.
Give Arnold a fair shot. People didn’t think Reagan was so smart either.
Some people NEVER thought Regan was so smart :)
two things: (1) i’m shocked…i thought you cali folks liked the idea of having arnold as governor. what gives? (2) what is arnold doing? he can’t possibly need all the crap that goes with that job. what’s he thinking?
mike - there is no such thing as “all you cali folk.” that’s like me saying “all you southerners.” do you consider yourself part of that group?
Haha, is it bad that i’m considering voting for Arnie?? ducks behind couch
:) For me it’s MOST DEFINATELY a lesser of 135 evils sorta deal at present… ugh
Reagan wasn’t the most brilliant guy in the world, but at least he was smart enough to pick good people around him and was a delegator. This is vs. Clinton who was a genius, but had to micro-manage everything. Reagan knowing he didn’t know everything was probably the smartest after all.
So all we need to elect is a good HR person? What then is a good HR person, someone with muscles?
Here’s what I think about the TV debate and the recall. I know Arnold is modelling himself somewhat on Reagan, but you really can’t compare the two. Reagan had been working in elective politics for years before becoming governor. As you can see from Reagan’s recently released letters in Time magazine, he had thought deeply about politics and could talk major issues intellectually.
