I’m curious about the wounds on shark 009. You mentioned in your journal that they are bite marks. Does that mean great whites attack each other?

oh my gosh, i knew there was a reason why i was afraid of the ocean. what was going through your mind when you saw its jaws opening wide for you?
actually, I was fascinated by the back of the shark, near the caudal fin. it flares out quite a bit back there and isn’t narrow like it is on a lot of other sharks.
oh, and the teeth were cool, too, and the way they accelerate before going for bait… and the way they thrash around on the surface of the water when they bite something up there. projections of vast amounts of power. :)
Those shots are absolutely ridiculous… nice job!
