Must-have Palm software?

Hi, folks! So, I am the proud new owner of a Kyocera 7135 palm phone (Chester was drooling over it in earlier comments). This means that I now carry around a brick instead of a small, sleek phone. Perhaps I will get a man-purse. It really is very thick.
Anyway, I’d like to ask you expert Palm users what Palm apps I should get. I’m already thinking that I will get SplashPhoto for an image viewer. Anything else? I’ve been out of the Palm circuit for some time now.
Oh. And, of course, I will have Pocketsynth on my phone. I hope it doesn’t crash newer versions of Palm OS. :)
Strange… I use mozilla exclusively but don’t get prompted to save a cookie on yer site. shrug
I’ll keep trying though :)
Hrm. Must clicked the wrong “comment” link. Meant it to be a response to “Wind blown”.
Sorray :)
Gah. I remember using that app when I still used my Palm II way back when. Didn’t realize you wrote it… not that I would’ve known who you were at the time anyway.
Soybo! ;)
yeah! I wrote it in 1996, on my US Robotics Pilot 5000, which I picked up directly from Metrowerks in Austin, along with the first version of CodeWarrior for Pilot. :)
I wasn’t exactly drooling…more like a little wet in the mouth.
I don’t know if you play poker or not, but my desert island Palm application is: Yo’s Texas Hold’em.
And there are tons of travel apps/suites…you should probably just try out a bunch and see which one you like…some of them have some very nice integration with the core Palm apps.
Anyway…
star pilot!! it draws a map of the night sky with planets and the moon! its just awesome. also has constellations and star data as well. can’t go out at night without it. if you can’t find it i can send it to you.
